Every domain name that is registered needs the use of DNS (Domain Name Server) facilities so that the name can be used for Internet Purposes. The purpose of a DNS record is direct Internet Services such as web browsing , email, ftp, etc.. to the correct IP Address. Standard domain name registrations with 3 Legs Ltd do not include any DNS services. If you have a hosting solution with 3 Legs Ltd then DNS services are provided. If you have a second domain name that you wish to use with your hosting solution then DNS Plus is the service that will allow this.

With this service we will provide standard DNS facilities for your domain name such as “A” or “MX” records. In addition we also provide URL and E-Mail Redirection.

URL Redirection
With URL redirection we will redirect user who try to access a website on your domain name to another specified website address.

E-Mail Redirection
With E-Mail redirection we will redirect e-mail to send e-mail to a given e-mail address on your domain name to another specified e-mail address. With e-mail redirection you specify a number of e-mail addresses on your domain name. As standard DNS Plus will provide up to 15 e-mail redirections.

This service costs £18.00 ex VAT per domain name per year.
