Ordering a IM Domain Name

In order to register a .IM domain name you must be a Manx Registered business or Manx Resident.

You may apply for domain names which are either:-

1. Your registered company name;

2. A recognised variation on your company name e.g. initials;

3. Your recognised Trading Name(s);

4. Your organisation's/company's recognised Brand Name(s);

To register a .im domain name please follow the steps below:

If you wish to check the availability of an im domain name before registering you can do so via the following webpage. Click Here to check the availablility of an IM name or alternatively e-mail us at info@domains-and-hosting.com with the details of the domain name you wish to check.

• Contact our sales department with details of the domain name you wish to register.
• We will send you an order form for you to check.
• Sign the completed order form and send it with a cheque payable to 3 Legs Ltd to:

  .IM Domain names are £48.00+VAT per name for 1 Year. IM names can only be registered for one year at a time.

We will then submit your request to the IM Registry for approval. Once the name is approved by the naming committee it will take 7-14 days to complete the registration process. If your name is not accepted we will return your cheque.

Please Note - Any domain name will not be activated until the registration process is completed in full. 

Domain Names need to be renewed 30 days prior to the expiry date of the 
registration period. Failure to do so may result in the loss of that name.
