Mobile Phones, Smartphones & PDA's

Since there are so many different makes and models of mobile device please consult your manufactures documentation for specific instructions. The required settings are outlined below.

POP3 (Incoming Mail Server): your domain name e.g. www.domain.com
SMTP (Outgoing Mail Server): your domain name e.g. www.domain.com
Username: This is the username provided when taking out your hosting package.
Password: This is the password provided for the above username.
STMP/Outgoing Server Authentication: Yes use the same usrname and password as above.
SSL/Secure Connection: No

When you are sending or reciving email you may get an invalid server certificate warning. Simple OK this message and the process will continue.

Anti Virus & Anti Spam
All our current hosting solutions provide full POP3 e-mail accounts. These accounts currently provide no Anti Virus or Spam filtering. Since these hosting solutions are aimed a business users it is better that you provide AV & Spam filtering at the point of reception. The reason for this policy is to prevent any server based solution we may use to delete or mis-identify an important email as containg a virus or spam.
