General FTP Information

We currently use type diferent server configurations. Below is the basic FTP usage information for each server type. In your hosting confirmation e-mail you will have been told which server type you are using. The main support page on this website has detailed instructions on how to configure many of the current FTP and HTML applications for use with our hosting solutions.

If you are a site administrator you will need to change the directory to the main site web directory. This is done by using the "Change Dir" command in your FTP program and entering "/httpdocs". The other method is to dougle click the "httpdocs" folder. Now any files uploaded to this directory will be viewable from your main domain name. e.g. http://www.domain.com.
