Domain Names

How do I get a domain name?
If you are looking for either a .com/.net or .co.uk domain name then you can check the availability of that name by clicking here.

If I register a domain name with you does that mean I have to use your hosting facilities?
No. If you decide to use another hosting company the we simply change the name server details on you domain name to point to your new provider. By doing this you will still need to renew the domain name with us at the appropriate time. Alternatively you may decide to transfer the name fully to your new provider. This may result in a charge from you new provider and they we be responsible for the renewal of the domain name.

I have a domain name registered with another provider, can I use this name with one of your hosting packages?
Yes. You simply need to change the Name Server details of your domain names. Using this method you are responsible for ensuring that the domain name is paid for when it comes up for renewal. Alternatively you may be able to transfer full control of the domain name to us. This will involve an additional charge.

How do I register a .im domain name?
The registration process for .im domain names differs to that of .co.uk and .com, therefore please contact our sales department.

Servers & Hosting

What type of servers do your use?
At present all your servers are Linux based.

Where are your servers located?
We currently have our servers located in 2 different UK facilities.

What size of hosting packages do you offer?
Our current hosting packages are 20, 50 or 100Mb.

Do you have a reseller option?
We currently do not offer a reseller option where you can split our hosting package in to multiple domains.

Can I have unlimited e-mail addresses?
Each hosting package has a limited number of POP3 e-mail accounts, however each account can have a number of e-mail aliases.

Do your e-mail accounts have an autoresponder?
Each account can have one autoresponer/vacation message.

Can I run Custom CGI scripts?
No. We do not allow you to run custom CGI scripts.

Can I use MySQL and PHP?
Since our hosting packages are aimed at basic websites we do not offer MySQL or PHP on our servers.

Can I view the sever stats for my site?
Every site has the ability to view the server stats for that site. Click Here to view a demo of the server stats.

What is the bandwidth allocation for each package?
All our hosting packages use a bandwidth sharing process on our servers, however if a given domain is making heavy demands on our server we will contact you to discuss additional bandwidth charges or options to put the site on its own server to improver its performance. If you wish to provide large file download or audio/video streaming services then contact us to make special arrangements to provide the best performance.

Bandwidth figures are based on the total amount of email received and website html and image files downloaded or uploaded to a given domain in a calendar month.
